I’m a friendly, spiritual, genuine, compassionate, flirtatious, honest, genuine, artistic, and direct guy who enjoys sharing time with similarly-minded men ~ laughs, walks, film, board games, museums & galleries, travel, cards, gaming/RPGs, queercamp, cooking, good food, chocolate, wine (even making my own), reading, compassion, art, enjoying flowers and the ocean, theatre, family & friends among them. I’m an artist! I paint mostly abstracts in oil and serve as Master Scenic/Assistant Designer for a local theatre company. Interest in my work grows – developing commissions & theatre work. In Dec. 2007 I painted a 23 ft. square backdrop for Peter Pan based on my painting, "Prevenance", for a local theatre. Last year (my first year showing) I enjoyed 11 exhibitions in Quebec City, Canada and Maine in Bangor, Portland, Lewiston & Madawaska. Now I am gearing up for 2008/2009 shows. My creativity merges my core spirituality within expressionist painting - abstract & realist in scope. It’s about emotional engagement – often evoking archetypes. I continue my study of materials, methods, practice and historical perspective, while discovering & exploring paint and other materials.
