It’s been a gorgeous summer here and I hope it has where you live. Things slow down during this time and we all get to relax a bit. That’s why the site has been a little slow getting updated recently.
I hope you are all having a great summer and taking lots of pictures. This is a great time of year to get outside and capture some beautiful natural shots. If you have a profile on Bear-licious, I hope you will send me some of your pictures for the site and update your profile. If you don’t have a profile, consider joining the Bear-licious community by setting up your own profile. It’s easy and free. Details at http://www.bear-licious.com/howto.htm . With the new format, I can easily post more than five pictures in your profile, AND make them much larger but I need you to send larger images (640×480 minimum).
You can also add a video clip to your profile or the general video section of the site. PLEASE do NOT send clips you downloaded from the internet, the clip MUST be of you! You should never post photos or video clips of some else!

Bear-licious Improvements
Hi,
This week, I moved Bear-licious from it’s old server on “GoDaddy” to a new and improved state-of-the-art server with another company. The new company offered me a great deal comparable with what I was paying GD. However, they specialize in video-on-demand delivery and so are equipped to deliver sites more efficiently and quickly. You should notice a change in how fast the video clips load and run now.
I had several bad experiences with GoDaddy who made several promises to get me to renew the server, then renegged on the promises which ended up costing me more money. I had quite a fight to get my money back when I cancelled the server and the rep had the nerve to ask me to complete a “customer satisfaction” survey after the call. Yeah.. like I could same something good. Don’t get me wrong… GD is ok for registering a domain cheaply, but I wouldn’t recommend them for web hosting and certainly don’t purchase a dedicated or virtual server from them. They will promise you the word to get your money, then say “oops, our rep shouldn’t have told you that. Sorry”.
Bitter? Me? Hell YEAH! I don’t mind getting screwed, but at least kiss me first. I hope you find the new server makes your experience on Bear-licious better.

Bear-licious Profile Change
Hi guys.
I have made a change to the way Bear-licious profiles are displayed. Rather than having all the pictures on a long page that you have to scroll down, I have made the main photo large, and the remainder thumbnails. This should help the pages load a little faster.
PLUS… I can make the photos you see much larger in the windows that opens to display them. Instead of 400×400 maximum, now they can be 640×480. This depends on what the person has sent me for photos though. If they sent small pictures, I can’t blow them up because they will look bad.
So… as I have always said… “BIGGER IS BETTER” and not just dick size! When you send photos for Bear-licious, make sure they are BIG, 640×480 minimum! If you are updating your photos, keep this in mind. You can send large photos using my drop box if your email won’t handle them.

Hi,
On the bottom of each page on Bear-licious, I added a line about “Questions & Comments” where guys could contact me concerning either topic.
I use Skype and decided to make myself available to personally deal with my visitors concerns. Due to the fact that Bear-licious has visitors from all around the world and many time zones, I use voice mail to handle calls when I go to bed. It is made clear on the site that I speak “English Only”. However, I receive lots of calls from people who ask if I can speak their language.
The other annoying occurence is the many guys who want to connect to my web cam and have me “perform” for their pleasure. I don’t do shows on demand. Buy a Bearfilms DVD for that if you need stimulation.
I enjoy hearing from guys who visit my site and call to let me know that they enjoy it. Or who are having a problem with something on the site that I might be able to help with with. Keep in mind, I’m not a computer technician and can’t fix your computer.
Thanks to all of those who have supported my “hobby” for these many years and continue to do so.
Bear-licious is unique. One of the few free sites still around. It costs you nothing to see everything on the main site.
Bear-licioustv is however, a Pay-per-View site which runs separately.
